SKODA Colour Corner coming to life



Cold and grey isn't the ŠKODA way! Recently, North London residents were greeted with an unexpected burst of technicolour as ŠKODA transformed a wintry street.

SKODA has proven its ability for quirky creative marketing by transforming a north London street with colourful felt. Louise Evans to transformed the street with beautiful felt leaves, flowers, birds bees and insects. 

Colour psychologist Karen Haller picked out the experiential campaign’s palette – a mix of blues, reds, yellows, oranges and greens. Already dubbed Colour Corner, the activity was designed to celebrate Škoda’s new Colour Edition Fabia models, as well as highlight the joy associated with the arrival of spring. Video footage of the street’s residents discovering the transformation was uploaded to Škoda’s UK YouTube channel. 

Haller said: "There is an energy around springtime that doesn’t happen at any other time of year. Skoda’s explosion of colour drew an incredible reaction from passers-by of all ages, proving we are in need of an injection of colour after the long grey winter.

Fabia Colour Editions come to Teesside






Derek Slack Motors’ range of SKODA Fabia Colour Editions featuring six different colour combinations for the roof, alloys and wing mirrors is certainly adding interest to the already new shape model. Available in white, green, blue and black with a black or white roof depending on colour.

SKODA VisionS set to arrive in Middlesbrough 2017



ŠKODA’s VisionS concept car has been unveiled at the Geneva motor show amid a flurry of flashbulbs, as photographers and journalists clamoured for a first glimpse of the car.

Members of the press in Geneva had already seen photos and illustrations of the VisionS, but this was their first chance to see it in the flesh. There was huge excitement on the SKODA stand during its unveiling and, if early comments are anything to go by, it’s sure to earn lots of fans among customers.
  
After unveiling the car, ŠKODA CEO Bernhard Maier said: “We already have a successful model in the compact SUV segment with the ŠKODA Yeti; now we are using our expertise in 4x4 technology to develop the new SUV model. This study also demonstrates our most important future technologies, such as the plug-in hybrid drive system; a similar drive system is also being tested for production cars.”

The VisionS is a six-seat concept version of the A+ SUV that ŠKODA is launching soon. The finished version is expected to have seven seats and is due to arrive at Derek Slack Motors in 2017.
