SKODA What Car? Hat-trick

What a great way to start the new-year with not one, not two, but three! category wins at the 2016 What Car? Awards. Already crowned overall Car of the Year 2015, judges nominated the 1.2-litre 90PS SE model as its pick of the range. The Octavia also beat some of the toughest competition in the business to scoop the 2016 Family Car title for the third time in a row. ŠKODA’s hat trick of category wins came in the shape of the all-new Superb taking top honours in the Estate car category. Selecting the 2.0 TDI SE Business as its favourite model, the What Car? panel found the new Superb’s combination of design, practicality and innovation impossible to resist.

Tony Slack- Managing Director commented, “ It’s great to see ŠKODA performing so well in the What Car? Awards. SKODA also scored on the price point categories – awards designed to highlight the best choices for buyers in a fixed price range. Once again, ŠKODA thumped the competition with six price point champions - more than any other manufacturer.”

Tony added, “The awards mean a great deal to everyone here at Derek Slack, the North East’s oldest SKODA dealer with nearly 25 years experience. Our new flagship dealership at Middlesbrough is the ideal location to view the full SKODA range from the smallest to the largest – all being recognised by What Car?”
