Middlesbrough Golf Club’s annual ‘Alliance Golf Tournament’ recently took place with Derek Slack Motors once again delighted to offer their support as main sponsors.
Golfers from throughout the North East and North Yorkshire turned up to what has become a regional showcase event, as each competed for the coverted title ‘Derek Slack Motors Trophy’ winner! The 2010 tournament attracted over 180 very good golfers, with PGA professional Gordon Cattrell amongst them.
Derek Slack gave Gordon a pretty good game putting up a tough challenge, but the pro’s skills were always going to prove too much, with Derek finally beaten on the day. Next year Gordon!
Derek Slack Motors had several vehicles on display throughout the event, attracting a great deal of positive feedback from the participants. It was a great day and everyone really enjoyed themselves.
